Those wheels look AWESOME with the green color!!!!

More sipes would help on ice, but I probley won't be dealing with hard ice much. I was thinking of cutting the leading edge of the lugs to make them sharper. Then go stright across center lugs with 2 grooves something like this \__]. That would give more sharp leading edges.

I tried to draw up a visual of my Groove plans. This photo may be as confusing as my description. The Terrorthons are a non-directional tire. Cutting like this will make them directional in forward motion Reverse should stay the same. Cutting both the leading edge and trailing edge of the lugs would make them the same both forward and reverse. I am planning on cutting down about 1/3 into the lug. Cutting the trailing edges might cause then to chunk are tear off going forward most of the time and over rock. I don't have access to a controlled test conditions. I will just have to judge from the seat of the pants.

not sure that theres a clutch kit available? was just wondering because when i put 27 inch xtrs on my 800 i had to add a clutch kit... but im thinking that the xp850 with its almost 20 extra hp than the 800 that a clutch kit would not be necessary. anybody have any thhoughts on this?</end quote></div>
You should not have a problem without a clutch kit with 27's, I haven't..and as far as I know none have been tested yet..
BUT A clutch tweak could make it perform better with the bigger tires IMO..but isn't mandatory by any means..
Now we just need one of the companies to spend their time and money figuring out the optimal set up
