Buddy bought a clutch kit from a company I won't name. He put 27's on his machine. The helix he recieved look's like it was shot with a shotgun.

It is very rough where the roller's would roll I guess on the helix. He called the company and they said that they are all mostly like that. I am not a machinist, but it would seem that this would have to be smooth to work properly.

I told him to call Rick Ritter, but he saw this company in a mag and bought. Any feedback would be great.

suppose to be smooth. if its rough then it will chew up the buttons. sounds like he got his butt handed to him on a silver platter

Maybe they shot it for stress relief..that will make it stronger..lol
