Default Headlight strobes

I'm looking to get some for plowing and the cool look I guess. I'm wondering where you bought them, are you happy with them and is it worth it?

Thanks!

i only have 2 grill leds. iv put in headlight flashers on one of the local pds 800s. i personaly dont think it would work so well. small area, plastic lense, hot strobe tube. not good. plus you have to get a sealed "potted" strobe supply. it probly work. but id go with a hl flasher. or some other lights.

I got a very simple and cheap set on Ebay. Can be chaged to 6 different colors with some plastic covers over the light.

Hawkeye Strobes

They were only about $10-15. Easy install.

Tennesee, could you give us the link for the seller and also what strobes you bought from him. They look pretty cool. How was the install? I'm guessing you had to drill a hole in your headlights. Are they holding up well? I had a pair in my Predator lights and they only lasted about 3 rides, something in the control box broke and the lights quit working.

Here is where I bought them: Ebay strobes

Yes I had to drill the headlight housing. Has a rubber grommet and seems to be reasonably waterproof thus far, granted I have not submerged them for any length of time. I mounted the strobing speed control box in the front storage box. Mine have been installed for about 2 years and have not stopped working or came loose yet and I have been rough in it at times. Knock on wood.

Where can you get different color headlight lens covers?

I was wrong its 4 colors and they are simply plastic sleeves that fit over the part that illuminates.
