Default Still having problems?

Hear here,

IE is blowing up on ATVCONNECTION, actually I thought it was my computer, LOL as alot of sites are choking with my IE these days. I am using FireFox now, and man its quick! I am glad I keep both browsers on my desktop for issues like these. Yea confirmed here too, problems with IE!

Now only if they could fix the email notification of posts/replys issues. I get about 4 avg notifications in my mail for the same posts when people reply to a thread I subscribed too. And not always do I get notified when there is a new post. So something is BUGGY there, IMO!

Yep,while we are on the subject....I get 3 e-mails if I started the thread...only 1 usually if it is a thread I sub'd to but didn't start..weird...also...why no e-mail notification for PM's? Not even a pop up box when you log in...if you don't look for them you can miss them pretty easily..

This should be resolved on monday moring. IE is the one effected and foxfire is not.

RticKwad go to your my forums tab and look at your Subscriptions. You have subscribed to a thread multiple times is the reason for multiple emails. If you don't want to subscribe to a thread uncheck below where it says (Subscribe to this topic) and do it every time you post.

Also, if you are subscribed once to a thread and someone replies and you don't go back you will only receive one email and not to the others that might post in the thread you are subscribed too.

Dam,

RticKwad you are going to be busy for awhile unchecking all the multiple threads you are subscribed too

I have gotten into a habit and do it blindly now of unchecking the little green check right below reply to this topic.

HIGHOCTANE you have multiple subscriptions also.

Raptoryfn660r,

It is not just IE that is having the problem... Firefox and Chrome are both exhibiting the same issues. The difference is that they tend to not load as many applets as IE does, thus the appearance of being faster. A noticeable issue with all is logging in and out as well as the dialog boxes that are suppose to be on the right of the screen that show when you have private messages are taking an eternity in computer time. All I can say is fire "Nick Burns" and hire someone who works on the weekends.

Obviously that "feature" could use some adjusting. The software should be smart enough to know you don't want multiple emails for the same event. I have gotten at least 6 emails today for the same post... spread across several hours. Not helpful.

Thanks for the info on how to work around that behavior. Now I'm off to unsubscribe from EVERYTHING.

Everything works perfectly in my Firefox. I have the Adblock Plus and No Script add-ons turned on to stop the scripting issues. I use them when ever a site start working "funny".
