Still having problems?

The subscribe worked for me.
I got one message in my inbox and the other two messages didn't show up.
RticKwad I looked at your subscriptions and you are subscribed to this thread 4 times so you will receive 4 emails. You love this thread 4 times as much as anyone else

LOL. So what you are saying is that I must manually after each continual post or reply is UNCHECK it?
Hmmm seems like this web application is missing its "integrity checks". I am an IT professional a little web software savvy but I am not a programmer nor a web admin/developer BUT pretty good at identifying problems and troubleshooting. I offered Dbeck sometime ago my part time interest in being a beta-tester when new releases are made, updates and things like that.
But since you mentioned a new owner I guess all of this is up in the air and hopefully when/IF new software is going to replace we have adequete time to archive any info. that is of interest to us. I for one have kept good TIRE info in my PM log I refer to from time to time. Believe me, I know TECH support and ADMIN services is NOT an easy job, thanks for putting up with us. But I do agree if there is SITE downage etc., I think most people are willing to accept those notices. IT WOULD REALLY HELP WITH ALL THE CONFUSION! I think the point you brought up is most people don't want advertising and soliciting from web sites as to why that portion is checked at least that is my IMHO.

R'

I just reset the time from PST to EST on my profile. I'll see if it works. Everything else has been working really well for me 2 nights in a row, but it was slower than dial-up for a couple days before that.

Yea and NOT TO BEAT A DEAD HORSE but as far as the Subscribe/UnSubscribe bug thing, its still happening after I selected all my threads and unsubscribed. So today I still get 3-4 email notifications of the same post/reply of each thread. That is not normal, it worked great before the BIG upgrade sometime ago, we were all email DBeck with our issues. The fact others have posted the same problem, I think there is a software glitch somewhere still.
Hey thanks for all the help and work-arounds!

I'm still having the OPOSITE problem, I don't get ANY e-mail notifications on ANY topics!
A definite glitch!

Don't get any emails. For some reason, I never have. Not complaining though.
One thing you'll have to remember, before, this was Dave's site. If there was a problem, he'd get right on it. New owners have other ventures going as well. So what may be a big issue to us, might be less of one for them, as they do have other things going on. Not to say Dave had nothing else to do, he was quite busy, but this site was his. He started it, and built it into what it is today. Well, maybe last week.
I'm sure they'll be other issues pop up as time goes on, and all issues will be addressed, eventually. (I hope)
So for now, we just have to be happy with the glitches. The alternative would not be good for any of us post junkies.

I am certainly not a computer expert but I have learned I can mess one up pretty quick, expert in doing that[img][/img]
I did get the update

Subject: ATV Connection subscription update.
ATV Connection Subscription Updatemtpockets has posted a message entitled Still having problems?.</end quote></div>
I'm not quite sure I understand what the above means?
Anyways, at 6-7A this morning I still can't get on using the new Mac Safari. I'm using a different computer now, Internet Explorer (windowsXP if that makes any difference) right now, and have no problems.
What am I doing wrong with the Mac Safari?
Sincerely,
~MT

mt - I am out of the office today (stayed home - forecasting 24 inches of snow and I have a 120 mile commute each day) - but tomorrow I can try it on the Mac via Safari.
FYI - most of the time I use Firefox on the Mac, but ocassionally use Safari.

Look I have a on-going big problem.
Using Mac Firefox it takes 3 minuets to load a post or page.
Using Windows XP IE it's quick as can be.
Using either method, I'm not receiving email topic replies( yes I click on the box everytime I reply)
Also, I requested me password be sent to me "Forgot Password" and it was never sent.
What's going on here?
BTW, you guys can find me on Highlifter.com I just signed-up under the same username "MTPockets"
