I'm told from a work friend that he added a particular spark plug to his Sportsman 800 and a trail where he would burn a full tank of gas he claims he now only burns half a tank.
I never heard this from anyone as of yet. He finally got me the spark plug number: NGK-BKR7E (supposedly found at most auto stores?) Anyone try this before?
Thoughts/opinions?

[img][/img]Have been using this plug in the 700 sportsman since they came out in 02! Had to many fouling problems with the Champions! Same for the 800,Champions imo good for lawn equipment only!</end quote></div>
Yep, that's one of those advantages I was talking about. IMHO, Irids just perform better... and longer.

Spark plugs (High performance)
Good thread, I like the various degrees of opinions.
Hmm, I don't have one, maybe for $3 I will try to see
improvements or gains if any, nothing ventured nothing
loss I reckon. Since mileage was discussed would this
change the service intervals any?
Budman, your comment about the beers, well I don't know specifically
but I guess one can only imagine, LOL.
Cheers,
