Well, I just got an email from Greg at Quadovator and I have ordered the reverse light module and the work light switch. The module was $29 and the work light switch was $16, add $6 for shipping and the total was $51. Paid with Paypal and should have the items soon. I will update the thread when I receive the package.

 

Hello all!!! I see all the posts on back work lights , got my head spinning. I am selling a 2005 400 sportsman with BACK WORK LIGHTS , and i'm getting a 2010 550 sportsman xp , and would love this option on the new bike . Talking with the dealer they say i need another wirering harness part# 2411236. wow , I think i need to buy 2 new taillight's ... 2 new bulbs with socket to fit new taillight ... a switch up on the pod ...... wire from switch to lights and wire from switch to power .

 

I was planning on doing the same to my 2011 when I pick it up but I had a different idea. I wanted to get a single fog/flood light for the rear hooked into reverse and also on a switch for when in P/N. Once I actually take delivery, I'll look into it and see what can be done, i love building circuits.

 

Does anyone have a picture of the supposed wiring that's already set up 4 a switch when hooking up work lights. thanks. Pm me
