sputtering at WOT

I have thought about the bad cam theory, but does that happen over night? last time I drove it i had a radiator issue, but still had full power. sat for about 2-4 weeks now it runs like crap.
P.S.
When i did clean out the carb it ran good for about 2 minutes then once it got up to temp, it starts acting up.

When you put your K@N in was it dry, after you oiled it? I put mine in too soon one time and the oil got in my throttle body and gave me a misfire at WOT. Just a thought

what does the spark plug look like, black like it is to much fuel or white like it is lean?
also you are wasting your money by putting 93 octane in a low compression motor, dump the gas and
put 89 in it.

K&N comes preoiled i didnt use my recharge kit on it. My plug wasn't fouled out and it was a little on the black side but nothing to be really worried about. I did change it with a new one though. I was putting gas in my car and have to run 93 so i just filled the can whil ei was there instead of going in to stop the sale to start a new sale on 87oct.
the big this i've noticed is that if i start the machine and just hop on and go, it runs fine until it warms up. Once its up to temp is when it starts to sputter.

Try some 87 gas.
I have had issues with 93 in my street car when it warms up to.
Higher octane gas seems to vapor lock more easyer.
Sounds like what is happening with your 4 wheeler when it warms up.
Carbs have more of a issue due to this as there is not as much fuel pressure as in efi.
Try some 87 u have nothing to loose and it may help.
If that don't work install your orginal air cleaner with the 87 gas.
I always ran 93 in my 97 500ho and 2003 700ho with no problems but that was 3 years ago.
I have noticed in my street car the last few years with 93 I have had more vapor lock problems.
I have insulated my fuel lines on my street car and it helped some.
This is one of the reasons you see more atv with efi in them.
To make efi run the best they should use a 02 senor in the exhaust.

Make sure the intake snorkal didn't get anything in it and is partially blocking the air flow. It would fun good until you needed more air then could be pulled because if a blockage. Make sure the airbox is sealed and is out together right. It cannot be open or modified or it will cause running issues. Diaphram can cause issues as well. A pin hole canmake it run terrible. After some age the rubber diaphram starts breaking down and gets really sticky and can come apart.

I checked the cam for wear and it looks good. What I did find is a broken ground wire. The one that connects the head and the frame. I will be replacing that now and hopefully thats the fix.
