O.K. guys, you really need to read the thread from dbeck (administrator) in the Land, trails and environmental issues section! This is another "bill" that is being voted on by our elected representatives without first getting public input on the issue! Please write your senators and congressmen and let then know what you think of this "bill"!
Senate bill 22, also known as the "Omnibus Public Lands Bill". It could ban motorized vehicles from 2.1 million acres of public lands!

Thanks for pointing that out.

I read it, and will make my voice heard. However, with the current administration in control of the WH, congress, and the senate, it will be hard to stop them from doing whatever they want. I'm not Republican, nor a Democrat, but I know when the Democrats have control like they do, they run full ahead on all these environmental issues without weighing all the consequences.

 

I wrote to the Idaho Democratic and Republican Senators and Representatives in congress and voiced my opinion! We just need to remind them who they work for and that we are the ones that pay them and that we are watching!
The mid term elections are only two years away and they should realize that if they don't vote the way we want, we won't be voting for them either!
I try to keep fairly active about voicing my opinion to them, just to remind them that we are watching!

Thanks DCT, I hope others will write as well. Those of us that don't voice our opinions don't have any business complaining about how THEY did THIS or THAT.
If you don't speak up then don't complain!
