Default atv ramps

Well I went to the dealer yesterday to use the $100.00 certificate I got for taking the ATV safety coarse and I wanted to get some ramps. I wanted to get a pair that was rated for 1200 lbs. because the XP weighs in at over 800 lbs. plus what I weigh. I saw a pair I liked, 7' with an arch for $229.00 so I was going to get them but they told me that they were not the Polaris brand so I couldn't use the certificate on them!
They then showed me a pair of 7' footers with an arch that were the Polaris brand for $299.00 rated for 1500 lbs. That didn't sound like a very good deal to me and I told them so! I tried to deal with them to get the price down a little but they weren't going to budge even a little! I left and went to our local steel supply dealer and they said they would make me a pair of alum. 7' for $185.00.! No arch in them but still a much better deal IMO (over 1000 lb. cap.ea.) and I will use the certificate for hand guards, a service manual and oil change kits I guess.
I was dissapointed in my dealer!

Lowes stocks a nice set of the arched ramps - 90" IIRC - for $146.00. They're in the section with truck tool boxes and trailer stuff.
