scram 500 HO difference

what is the difference in a scrsmbler 500 and 500 HO? i have a 01 scram 500 but what is the difference in a HO?

The ONLY 500 Scrambler that wasnt an HO was a 1997.ALL the rest are.

thanx for the reply, this is my 1st polaris, i build mustangs for a hobby and an ho motor is a difference!! nice to know what i have. thanx again

Yep, H.O. 500 engines have a larger carb & more agressive cam profile.
