Default No Brake Fluid

So I was taking a putt around yestarday and stopped to take a break, when I grabbed the hand brake it felt like I didnt have any brakes. I pumped it a couple times and then it felt normal. I took my hand grip muff off and looked in the resevoir and it was empty. After riding I came home and filled it back up and everything is working fine. I looked for fluid leaking and couldnt find any however the quad is covered in mud and buffalo grass so seeing is pretty difficult. I took a ride this morning to check my coyote traps, and they are working fine, they feel like I have the proper amount of pressure, and the resevoir is still full.

Any ideas as to how it would have leaked out, and if there is a leak why am I not getting air in the system? Anybody have any problem like this b4?

Well it's a closed system so it's leaking somewhere.

Your not getting air in the system because brake fluid is heavier than air. If you have a leak in the caliper or line(most likely)
the fluid will keep the air out. But the fluid will also leak out.

Clean everything up real good and see where the leak is and fix it.

once the fluid is leaked out(which you do have a hole some where for sure or a bad seal) then you will have air in the brake system and will have to bleed the complete brake system. imo.

I agree with Stendori, once you lose ALL or nearly all break fluid it'll start sucking air into the system . As long as there is some fluid though it shouldn't get any air.

Glad to see your feeling well enough to go for a ride BTW !
