Default Trouble Code 25

I was checking my traps today and had the quad parked on an incline running. I was only off of it for maybe a minute. When I got back on and went to pull out the check engine light came on. Once I was riding and turned off the AWD and went out. About 1/2 mile later it came back on for about 20 seconds then went back off again. It happened once last week too same situation stopped on a steep incline. My first though was maybe just from being on that incline it wasnt getting fuel, or oil, but the third time it happend I was on perfectly level ground and going about 15 mph.

When I checked the codes the only one I'm getting is a code 25 which isnt in the owners manual. Any of you guys know what the 25 means?

I just had the same code. Check out this thread. http://forums.atvconnection.co...tid/11/threadid/560427 . I unhooked my battery and went for a ride last night and the code has not come back yet.

Thanks a alot fellas. I sure feel better now. Where did you find the code translation at? I check my connectors. The first time it happened I had just went thru some water so it may have gotten wet. Thanks again!

The code is in the repair manual. Not sure why it is not in the owners manual.

I had to change the sensor on mine (08/800). Originally, I thought the trouble was originating from a dirty connection but at the end I had to changed the whole module to stop the code from re-appearing.

For me, this code caused the ATV to run somewhat hotter because the electronics could not tell if I was in high or low gear.
