Excellent review on the tire. Have you heard anything about the Reptile. Similar tread but a radial.

The PXTs are about worn out after 975 miles. I had Goodyear RAWAHIDES on my previous Sportsman and they were much better than the PXTs. Wish the RAWHIDES came in a 26" tire.

Donecrashed I on average ride 3000 miles a year with maybe 2000 of that on pavement or gravel roads getting to and from my trails . Would the Swamps with my kind of riding last me say 4 years ( 12,000 miles ) ? I don't want to have to buy tire every 48 months .

Spdecat, I think you would be hard pressed to find ANY ATV tire (even Bear Klaws), that are going to last 12000 miles under those conditions!
My Swamplites are holding up very well and while they may not be the best tire available, I am of the opinion that they are probably one of the best tires for the money

I know my mileage is not the norm I could be replacing tires often , I'm starting this season with Terracross I'm hoping to get 2 years at least from them .

Cat, I'm not sure if you could get them miles out of a set, but they have some serious meat to them. I would say that they will hold up as well as any other tire, if not better, and you'll like the performance a lot better. I will never own anything else after running these.

Now that Rocky Mountain is offering money back on large orders I may go ahead and spend the extra $$ and get the Terracross tires? Che Rocky Mountain for their latest sale. It end 28 Feb 09.
