#1= Dealer support!! I have got to have the stupid'est dealer in the state,The guy know's nothing about the product he sell's
#2Fix,change ,do something with the 4x4 system. They are going to have a lawsuit on thier hands if someone runs into a tree,or off a ridge because the hub engages while running.
#3 Drop 30 to 50 lbs off the weight
#4 The cage under the rear rack(where the tail light is) can be utilized if it were a little bigger. On My 97 magnum 425 I can put a 1.75 gal gas tank in that spot.I rolled it off a 75ft hill ,end over end,and it held up like aroll bar.

What do you mean by a hub engaging? I have a 2oo1 scrambler 500 and have so far done nothing but praise the 4x4 system, because it seems to be one of the only true 4x4 systems out there. Most 4x4 machines you spin one front tire only, and that can be frustrating at times.
I do agree on dealer support though.Maybe even training on sales so the salesman knows more about the quad than the consumer. For instance my salesman didnt know how to put it in 4wd.I know pretty sad hugh.

1. not a thing. unless they make a cd player and a built in drink cooler run off the eletrical system options for 2002. would be nice to not have to put a cooler on just make it big enough for a few cans and a sandwhich that would be the perfect upgrade.

better reflectors in the headlights.
Better fit on the plastic
700 twin
bigger gas tank because engines need more fuel

lighter parts if possible
better front struts
AND BETTER DEALER TRAINGING, im tired of going out to the dealership and knowing more about there stuff then they do. they need to be trained better or loose there ability to sell polaris

Here is my top five improvements (some have already been made to the 2001's)
1. Use tougher steering components. Plastic steering stem bushings and the old style tie rod ends were stupid designs.
2. Lighter weight on the sport models. I want to get a sport quad next spring and I am not sure I want a sport quad that weighs over 500 lbs. I actually like the heavier utility quads. I use my Magnum for plowing and towing. The extra weight is nice for the utility work.
3. Improve the rear tool box to make it waterproof. I hardly use either one because the water and mud end up ruining whatever I put in there.
4. Better dealers (I think this has already been mentioned). I realize this is not really Polaris's fault, its just fustrating trying to deal with morons at the dealership.
5. Better owners manual. Polaris should throw out that crappy "one size fits all" owners manual and include a model specific owners manual that gives detailed instructions about ordinary maintenance. If you look at the current manual, almost half of the manual is devoted to safety issues. How about explaining how to adjust the valves instead. I realize that the service manual are only around $30, but I guess they want you to bring your atv into the dealer for service.
These are just my opinions though. Overall I really like my machines, they just need a little improvements.

#1 easier to get to oil and water check. #2 adjustable load front shocks. #3 no grease fittings. #4 change speedo housing (looks like alein head) #5 12" wheels and tires front and back. Thats my five but I really like the H.O just the way it is.
