Scrambler 500 with FMF exhaust
#1
I have 22" Swamp lites, snorkeled belt and FMF exhaust.
I do mostly trail riding with a bit of mud and am looking for the best set-up.
Also looking for new 22-23" tires with at least 1" lug.
Help me out? thanks.

Get a K&N, use your stock outerware on it, no re-jet required.
I used to have a White Bros. E-series on my 500 & upped the main to a 160, but all that did was foul the plug. The 500s are jetted on the rich side from the factory. So, I went back to the stock 155 main. I would turn open the fuel screw 2 turns though. This will help with starting & help stop de-cel backfiring with the pipe.
Do yourself a favor & get a complete clutch kit, not just a spring. The stock clutching is so soft on these quads, and bigger tires will only make it worse. Anything from Hot Seat, HPD, or Ritter Cycle Racing is good stuff.

For aggressive riding go with Aaen Green primary spring,10-56 weights,Aaen blue secondary set 2-2
Milder set up Dalton Blk/white,10MB weights set stock spring to 2-2 or Aaen blue or HPD older violet secondarys
