Fix a pin hole leak in a polaris ATV tire.
#1
Just wanted to check to see if you fix a Polaris trail boss 250 tubeless tire like you do for a car tire, with patching (plug) kit. I have fixed tractor and car tires with these plug kits. I wasn't sure if these ATV tires have enough plys for the plug to hold.
Thanks,
Mark

I've had 5 plugs side by side in sidewall gash and it held up riding hard!
I did put slime in after plugging somthing that big.I never thought it would hold but a buddy assured me he had done this many times with success. Now I'm a believer!

I've had real good luck with plugs stopping leaks. One was a hole in the sidewall that needed 2 plugs. The other was a slow leak in the tread that was so small I had to put 20 pounds of air in to find the nail hole.

just dont use like fixer flat as a sealant made for cars, as the wheelers dont have aenough air in the tires to work good. ive had good luck w/ plugs myself.
