Your not going to make a 500 a screamer.You are limited on the topend speed by the 4x4 gearing.But you can get a seat of the pants feel of power.What I recommend is from my experience.Clutching on these is a personal thing and needs to be set up for your type of riding.If top speed is a concern setthe secondary 1-1 if torque and fast back shifts are inportant set at 2-2

Hey ftwflh ive got a question for ya. you seem to know alot about clutching. if got an 01 scrambler 500 2x4. Its got a white bros exhaust, k&n air filter, and i just put a jet kit in. im about 5'6" and 150 lbs i ride in the mud and trails so im lookin for low to mid range power any advice on what spring i should put in the primary and in the secondary i dont really wanna put new weights in but do you think it would be nessesary?
