I am having a problem getting my 03 polaris predator 500 to run I have changed the spark plug which was fouled and then i have also changed out my coil I stuck the plug in the coil and grounded it to the top of the motor and hit the start button and it sparks but my lawn mower has ALOT more spark then my quad lol its just barely a spark at all.. Could it be my CDI box or would it be something else?

actually i havent had my valves checked.. how much would that cost to get that done? sorry this bike is actually the first one that i have owned though i have been riding for years i have never actually worked on one or owned one till this one which i bought about a year ago...
umm... I actually was looking up other peoples problems with their quads last night on here and i found a few that seemed to have the same problems and people are saying the valves so im gonna work on getting mine checked and fixed if needed... If you could lemme know a range of cost it might be that would be great thank you very much

Every dealer different,BUT we get 2 hrs labor @$75 per hr! Time consuming,if any valves out of spec, cam removed, new shim installed under bucket then cam tightened back down, check clearance,if still out, another shim is tried! Shims are marked and you have to determine which new shim to used depending on valve clearance. You dont always get it right the first time!
