The SS isn't the fastestes thing under the sun but it'll run up against quite a bit out there and it is absolutely a fun ride to drive. Great in the snow and tows too.

The details are as follows:

K&S MOTORCYCLE TURN SIGNAL HEADLIGHT SWITCH Part# 12-0055

K&S MOTORCYCLE ATV LED FLASHER BLINKER WINKER RELAY SWITCH Part# 24-0005

K&S MOTORCYCLE HORN 12V UNIVERSAL MOUNT Part# 11-0150

2 BLACK LED RED & BLACK AMBER Motorcycle Turn Signal lights (From Bestblueheadlights Ebay item# 250380290383).

I really liked the K&S switch since it looks stock, as if it was made to match up against the stock Polaris switch. I bought the Polaris work light option on Ebay which is nothing more than 2 912 bulbs and a toggle switch (which I did not need) I wired the new K&S switch directly to the Polaris work light switch under the pod. Using the K&S switch helped me from having to cut a hole in my pod for the toggle switch, possibly scratching or breaking it. I'm using the high beam switch (on K&S switch) to turn it on or off. There is a little blue indicator light on top of the K&S switch that lets me know if the work lights are on.

The turn signal relay and horn is K&S brand. I kept it the same so they would play nice together. I liked the turn signals because the are small LED and the are very brite when lit. The other thing is they are not over powering and are small & white when not in use so as to not obstruct the appearance of the atv. No big red & amber reflectors. BTW, the rear turns are red & the fronts are amber when lit. Otherwise they are clear/white when off.

Wiring is simple 16 gauge wire that I used a snake to run wires from the pod down though & past the gas tank. I did wire the turn signals directly to the battery with a inline waterproof fuse holder (10 gauge wire) so as to not disturb the Polaris' electrical system. The only time I connected to the electrical system was to connect 2 lead wires from the K&S switch (high beam wire) to the polairs work light connector under the pod. Basically 2 spade terminals pushed into the Polaris switch.

There is a guy out there that does do turn signal kits and was extremely helpful, but unfortunately I wasn't able to use his product because the K&S switch wasn't compatable with his relays.

To me, the look is very clean, which is what I wanted. I do understand that it is an ATV and should be in 4 ft of mud, but it is nice to cruise out on the street once in a while without the hassel of the local sheriff stopping me because it's not street legal. Either way, it worked out well.

Hope this helps.

Now if we could just find a few slip-ons for the Touring model to chose from I'd be happy! I have a Stealth Black 08!

thanks knackll -

Are the white dots, that appear to be about the size of a quarter, just inside your rear light pod and underneath your front grill the led for the turn signals?

Where did you install the horn?

Where did you purchase the K&S products?

Yes, that's them.

The horn is tucked up underneath the gas take area.

I purchased the K&S products on Ebay.

Check this out:
