Default Icon Issues

Okay, Guys I seem to be doing something wrong. I have tried to get a cool Icon like the rest of you guys but it just won't happen. I've uploaded pics to my page with no problem. But no luck with the icon.

I tried saving them with paint, adjusting them down to 118x 94 18kb, 98x85 and 10kb, and still no joy.

Any words of wisdom???

I think it has to be a jpeg (.jpg or .jpeg) image. Maximum image size is 120 pixels by 120 , with a maximum size of 100 KB. (seems
you okay there though).

Thanks for the help guys. Converted to a gif file and it popped right up.

Added some photos of some Idaho wildlife to my profile also. Man, the tracks on my X2 has opened up some areas where nobody else travels.

My file is 4kb in size. I opened up my icon in PAINT and the dims. are 110width x 72height pixels (96 by 96 dots per inch) saved in a .jpg format. Your pixelation can determine the resolution of your pic. The jpeg may look more clear, I can tell
you lost a little.

Tried the jpeg and kept getting kicked out. File was to big ( 118 x 97) 10kb. I lost some color and definition but for now I'll hang with it.

The pics loaded up fine jpeg, so who knows. The pics I've got of the Elk came out fairly well, but the originals were really cool.
