Default Looking at a new ATV you might want to know this..

I've heard the arguement about Polaris's 850xp being so much more than other large bore machines, such as Yami's, Suki's, and Kawi's, etc..
Now as most of us know that Yams, Suks, and Kaw's dont have the displacement as Polaris's.. So why not compare the cost per cc?
I took Manuf Suggest Retail and divided it by the actual cc's they have.
This is only a large bore comparissson and I only picked out the most expensive from each.
They are as follows;

Artic Cat Thunder Cat H2 1000/951cc 11,199/11.77per cc

Can Am Outlander XT 800R/799cc 9,999/12.51per cc

Honda Rincon GPScape Camo 675cc 8,549/12.66per cc

Kawasaki Brute Force NRA edt. 750/749cc 8,949/11.94per cc

Polaris Sportsman XP with EPS 850/850cc 9,699/11.41per cc

Suzuki King Quad 750axi P.S. limited 750/722cc 9,099/12.60per cc

Yamaha Grizzly 700 EPS Special Edt. 700/686cc 9,599/13.99per cc

Hmmmm.. So how is it that Polaris gets a bum wrap for being "so expensive"?
Now granted we can all do better than msrp pricing. But i bet the differences on each model still have the same difference in per cc cost.

Just something i did.. Take it for what it is worth..

Im glad to see that there are good deals out there for all machines.
I wasn't buying the fact that Popo's are way more than expensive than other machines that are roughly the same size etc..

Funny I always thought it was Can-Am that got the bad rap not Polaris!

Guess that is why its good to know someone in the Bizz that has some pull!

Depending on how you figured this I think the Grizz figures are a little off I come up with more like 12.4-12.6 and that is on a S.E. like mine!
