Default Sportsman AWD Question

Will running a 2002 Sportsman stuck in AWD cause extra damage. I'm not sure but I think I may have a problem keeping my AWD from disengaging, and I don't want to tear everything apart right now. I'm planning to put a 2-3 inch lift on it this spring and will be changing out the axles at that time. I just want to know If I'll be destroying my front diff if there is a problem.

Default Sportsman AWD Question

Are you saying there is power to all the wheels all the time? If you're in dirt or other loose stuff it would probably be okay, if you're riding on the street or over boulders where the stress can't be released I would worry about blowing the front end out.
