When there is no force to the wheeles they will move but if there is a lil force against thim, like being in snow, it just grinds nd clicks wheel the wheels are not moveing, please some one help me out, i know alot about bikes, but when it comes down to fixing them i dont know much.....

 

Possible silent chain or chains in transmission jumping teeth (stretched)? If your are talking about rear wheels? front wheels? stripped propshaft from trans to front gearcase? 500 trans pretty durable unless really abused!

 

I dont overly abuse it but i do Drive it hard 60% of the time...

And it does it in both 2 wd and 4wd, if there is no pressure against the wheele's They will turn, but say like it is in the snow you have to give it a little throutle to move, pluse it has 27/12 inch Mud Bugs, Its a 03 model, The Ducks unlimited Camo Edition.... Its always worked really nice, definatly always the bike out front...

The noise is a clicking slash drinding sound, more so clicking....

Also i should say, it has been shifting into gear alfuly hard for a good wile now, sometimes it just doesnt wont to go into H, but i usually put it in R and push it quick to H

 

sounds like your shift linkage is out of adjustment.... you might try and disconnect the shift arms from the tranny and shift the tranny manually with a big crescent wrench or vise grips.

I Still dont understand, i can get it into R H L and get the wheeles to move but when it has to strugle a little to move them it clicks and grinds and the wheeles just dont move well im holding it down

 

then definitely sounds like an internal tranny issue..

Man that bikes a tank, iv had it completly underwater and back out still running, how i dont know, I love it, but what ever has happend to it, im ****** now

Iv pulled the new grizz 700 on pavement back 20 ft, same tires, at the time they were 26 mudlights

Honda 500 Like nothing

Bruit force 750, and mine is a 500, we pulled back and forth

lol, ill stick with my bike...

It for sure sounds like something isnt locking like it should be, gears worn down or something, because once a lil pressure is put to the wheeles they wont turn, it just makes clicking and clunking sounds...

In all my years of owning the bike if never had a prob, just the speed omiter stoped working... mabe it is because i use to have a clutch kit in my bike than took it out in trade of a 2008 polaris 800 clutch, maybe haveing my bike tiers on done something to it... Still it would be nice to have a decent idea of whats going on [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
