i have been looking all aver the internet to find a regulator or rectifier dont know what the correct name is for a 2003 500 sportsman i have hade no luck all i can find is up to 2002 is it the same part thay are both 4 wire sorry for the long post

 

4060173 Rectifier, Regulator is the part number for an 02' and 4010670 Rectifier is part number for an 03' 500. you can use the rectfier off an 04' year as well but as you see not an 02' hope that helps.
