my 01 500 scrambler developed a leak from the bottom of the carb never did it before but after a good ride it leaks horribly. it is coming from the bottom of the bowl and whats weird is i went and got an in line shut off valve to keep from losing my gas and what happens is it drains the bowl because i will have to turn the gas back on and fill the bowl back up to restart it, and then it will drain right back out any help is appreciated

 

i would say the carb needs to be cleened and rebilt sounds like a peace of dirt in your nedle valve it is not closing off and shuting the gas off
