Default Polaris or Warn winch

I just brought my new 850 browning xp home. I am getting ready to sell my 05 800 mossy oak sportsman. My dilemma is that the 800 has a brand new warn rt 25. I think I am going to swap the, switch, contactor and winch since some have reported problems with the polaris winch. Should I switch any or all of it. I hate to let a brand new warn slip through my hands if the polaris is inferior. Thoughts?

I think I would be inclined to switch them out too. I've heard more than a few comments about the new PoPo winch not being up to snuff. We have the Warn 2500s on both of our beasts and they have come in handy. Mostly pulling other people out of the muck.

Ditto on keeping the warn. I was one of the crap Chinese Po winch buyers.

you would be foolish to get rid of the warn over the polaris junk winch. i would keep all of the parts to the warn winch as well. imo

I've heard that the Polaris's winches are better than they use to be and lately there's been problems with warns solenoids. However i find that hard to believe.
I have a Polaris winch and i havent had any problem with it.

Warn does not make the Polaris winches any longer? My winch has both Warn and Polaris printed on it.

Newer winches (2009) are not Warn winches any longer from what I understand.

Then your winch is a warn.
