hey i have a 1999 500 scrambler i'm trying to remove the primary clutch for repair i bought the clutch puller and tryed to remove the clutch only to strip the treads off on the clutch. has anyone else ever ran into this problem and if so is there any ofter way to remove this clutch?

 

ive never heard of anyone stripping the inside threads off the clutch. that could be a big problem on ever getting it off. depending on what your doing to the clutch you can do alot to it by just taking off the cover to get at the spring and weights. good luck.
