Default Trailblazer cutting out

ok so my friend just got a trailblazer 250 for his little brother for like 300 bucks. we took it out today and it rode fine for like 10 min but then it just cut out. we could get it to start and idle and it would rev ok but as soon as we put it in gear and tride to ride it it would go like 4 feet and just bog down and die. im thinking spark plug is shot. what do you all think? i already took the carb apart and cleaned it but did not help.

First disable the reverse limiter by unplugging the black wire.If this dont work check the secondary clutch buttons. Then do a compression check.Should be over 100psi
