While it idles fine but when i give it some gas it just dies, it sounds like there is something shorting out though. dont know much about electronic throttle control, can anybody help

 

Unplug black wire from speed control , located uner headlight plastic.

 

there should be about 1/8" of play on the tip of the thumb throttle. the level should move 1/8" before it starts to pull on the throttle cable.

but i agree with above post. unplug the black wire from the rev limiter. those things cause all kinds of weird things whey they are going out
