Default axle help

I found out I have a 5/9/02 build 700. BUT, it still has the steel hubs. I saw pst that mentioned using the 05+ axles in the 02-04 fronts for the non-u-joint and a little longer axle(for lift). I also read where the early(steel hub) 02 have diff axles due to the hubs having diff splines.

Sooooooo, if all of this is correct, I can swap front hubs to late 02+ aluminum hubs and add 05+ front axles???

My front axles are too short for the 2" lift and forward a arms. Already busted both front cv's due to them pulling out.

I haven't even begun to look into the rear situation yet, as its still in one piece.

THANKS for the help.
