Warn R/T 30 Winch
I bought a new '08 Sportsman 800 about a month ago and had the dealer install some goodies, including the winch.
It did not come with the wired remote. However according to Warn's website it appears that this is an included part with the R/T 30 winch.
I plan on asking the dealer when I take it back for service this week, but was wondering if anyone here knows for sure?

I have one from my Warn 3.0S I had on my brute. I never installed it because I didn't think I would need it. Turns out I was right. It's still sitting in my garage.</end quote></div>
i sold mine on ebay becuase i didnt want it either. i cant imagine tying to use the hand remote off the bike as you try to drive it out off a hole. but thats just me.

2 Points:
If it was supposed to be included, I want it.
More importantly though, I have seen a man cut in half like he was made out of butter when a cable snapped!
And if you use a winch properly, as even Warn recommends, you let the winch do the work.

that must have been been some which cable on an ATV. i have had serval whiches and have even had the winch completey stop because of the load i put on it(hence thats why i went bigger) w/ out having a cable snap(not saying it couldnt happen) and w/ the wheelers power to help its easier on the whole rigging. this of course is just the way we do it and only my opion.
