Driven clutch spinning at idle
#11
ok going back to check it out(should have doen it in the first place, but i was lazy)i found it does not have the ebs which means it should not have any tightness like the ebs system. this is the correct belt number it takes. =3211048 BELT-DRIVE(5) Substituted by 3211077 make sure you have the right belt and the clutches are lined up for sure as it should not be creeping at all and should have much pressure going or comig out of gear. imo.

have a 94 sportsman with similar issue - I checked center to center distance, clutch offset (as best as I could without the tool) and deflection (deflection is actually looser than spec - I'm out of shims to pull).
and I still get a little spin on the secondary - doesn't grind unless I forget to let it idle down.
One thing that I tried and I guess could work if it was grinding bad - shut it down for gear changes and start it in gear! (dangerous if the throttle sticks!)
