You can adjust the front and rears differently, don't have to be the same. I did have to remove the right rear tire to get to the shock, kind of a pain.

Ha. I had the same problem to turn the suspension one way I had to take off one rear wheel and to tighten it back I had to take off the other side.

Also makes it alot easier if you jack the machine up and get the weight off the springs...
I've manage to adjust mine without removing the wheel...but it is a pain..
I've thought trying putting a bend in the wrench to make it easier..just haven't looked at it to see if it would work yet...I would have to consider the affect on using the clutch too as well...but then it wouldn't fit in the pouch lol

I turned up the front on mine 2 notches because it would bottom out and rub when you came down hard on the front. I have not changed the rear it seemed ok so far, I don't carry any extra weight on the back.

Another note...People running wide offset aftermarket wheels will have to stiffen the preload more than guys running stock offset..it makes a noticable difference in the suspension due to the added leverage..
