You are right I apologize. The picture is correct. Air goes through if I blow in the valve but not if I blow in the hose.

The ECM is the SurgePower thing?

that is the overflow line, cut a short piece of hose off the end and stick it on the other end of the valve and then hook it to the bottom of the carb.

I agree speeddrive1 the check valve should be up by the carb with a short piece of hose. The pic is the ECM, the new style the way it looks.
