My fan motor on my 98 SP500 is wining alittle, but dont wont to replace if it possible. Any way to lub/oil the fan, or should I just go ahead and replace it? not as loud as I have herd some, but dont want to go out of town to ride this month and have fan go out!!

 

I might not be much help here,but........
I did a search yesterday for fluids and oils and one of the posts was talking about it only takes an extra 10min's to greese the bearings in the fan moter.I'm assuming That was 10min's after the fan was out.
