i have cleaned and rebuilt carb. i am getting good idle. but there doesnt seem to be much power. ive noticed when fuel is low i actually get great power like a 2 stroke should be. is there something i might have missed? im new to polaris so really not sure. im stumped. thanks in advance.

doesnt seem to be clogged but never say never. just odd to me when tank is low it has real good rpms.

 

check the reeds. what kind of 2stroke oil are you using?

 

i didnt realize there was a certain 2 cycle oil to use? and oil would cause problems?

 

ive never heard of 2stroke oil causing problems but some guys swear by the expensive stuff..i just use to gallon oil that walmart carries.

my guess would probably be a misaligned float.

 

yeh ive never heard that on any 2 stroke either. ive seen guys use 10w 30 before and ran just fine. thanks for the thoughts

 

less fuel will cause the atv to be lighter which in turn = faster.....!................LOL.!
