I'm not sure what the problem is but I wouldn't trust that flywheel. It could throw a magnet again at any time.

Ditto on what jumbofrank said about the flywheel. Could be the one spark problem, but can also throw a magnet and trash that new stator as gluing them doesn't work. If you can't afford a new one,at least try to find one in better shape. All these models use the same flywheel part number.

If the magnets are weak, distance altered between the other magnets when he glued the old one back in can screw things up,plus you mentioned the black wire? Which one? Did you disconnect the reverse limiter black wire or the black kill wire from the cdi?

I tried both everything ohms out correctly no bad grounds the only thing I can think of is cdi and flywheel I'll pick up both and hope for the best. Those Polaris quads are hard to come by around here and I seen a similar thread about the guy buying three cdi boxes should I just buy a used one that came off a running quad?

This model is getting hard to find a good one without spending an arm and a leg. Here's a couple places you can check.
