My friend's 2004 SP600 engine blew up an he has located a 2005 sp600 for a decent price. The questions is whether or not this is the exact same engine. He doesn't want to drop a grand or more on an engine that wont work for sure. Any help sure would be helpful. Thanks,

guessing, but im pretty sure they would be the same or if they differnt it wouldnt be anything he couldnt use or easly change. these were rthe last years for the 600 as well i do beleave. you pretty much could use any of the engines as mostly all the sportsmans are the same set up i beleave. imo.
