Default 400 HO Stall underwater

I had my 400 HO exhaust underwater or about the height... The quad has stalled twice from this... Is it stalling because the exhaust under water or from connection getting wet?? I have a 500 HO that could idle under water all day...Any ideas??

Temporarily vent your exhaust up out of water and see if happens again! Could be a little of both! Electronics dont like water and air that goes in must come out! Good luck

I think it might be electrical getting wet...I went in some deep water doing some water wheellies and nothing happened.... but i didnt stop to much and when i did i didnt want it to stall so i rev it up.... but it didnt stall the little while well i did sit there... maybe a one time thing...

Is there not supposed to be a small amount of fluid in there if you remove the cover entirely?

I could have sworn that the service manual stated a small amont of fluid would drian out if the recoil start cover was removed. Sorry about that. Guess I need to go check again. Thats why I havent addressed mine yet.
