Default clutch kit

hi there,

just wondering what brand of clutch kit you guys would recommend for a 2004 sportsman 500 ho... i have 27 " tires on it, and i am looking for a good hard pulling clutch kit... ive looked at epi, and "bikeman performance" so far, but what do you guys recommend? thanks

I just installed a Dalton kit on my 600. Made a huge difference. I have 26x10 and 26x12 Mudlites. It has alot of pull on the bottom end now. You can wheelie if you want to. It wouldn't hurt to look at what they have for the 500's.

I believe RcR is Rick Ritter Racing he has a website that you can check out. I believe this is where most of the guys get their Dalton kits from.

I installed mine in about an hour. Pretty easy to do. Getting the snap ring off the secondary was about the hardest part, nice to have an extra set of hands for that. And putting the belt back on was harder than I thought. The secondary doesn't open up as easy as a snowmobile's. Maybe it because there isn't a lot of room in there for your hands. All in all not too hard to do though.
