Does anyone know where to find online a wiring diagram for 1 94 Magnum 425? Here's my issue, she will not start unless I have a hefty battery charger hooked up. Will fire right away like this, but when just battery, will not fire. Battery is good, it's like I'm not getting enough juice to the spark box or something. I have been thru the wiring as best I can without a diagram and all appears fine, checked grounds, etc. Only thing found was a bad positive lead from battery to solenoid, no difference made tho. Has anyone seen this before? Pulling what little hair I have left out. Thanks for any input. I guess the main thing I need to find out is if I have a full 12 V going to sparkbox. Have not been able to isolate this wire yet in this snake nest of wiring. Thanks again.

 

does it turn over the same speed w/ out the charger? just wondering if the starter itself is dragging? what happens when you try to pull start it? putting a say 55 amp charger/starter to star it isnt a good idea to be doing w/ a battery in it thats only around 14 amps it self. good way to burn the electronics out. just my opinion.

 

Turns over faster with charger attached, unfortunately the pull starter is inop,all we have is electric start. Electric starter sure sounds like it is turning over fast enough to start it tho without the charger, I dunno. I suppose I ought to pull the starter off and check the brushes, etc. Any other ideas?

 

check to see how much spark your getting w/out the charger on the battery when you try to start it. you may not have much or any fire even when you turning it over good. just an idea.
