Default Polaris trailboss 350l carb issue?

I've been working on this new project of mine for a few months now. I got it for $60 and was a pile of junk i got up and going. After riding for a few days it back fired and quit.

I took the head off to find the piston missing a chunk and half the skirt off. None of the remains to be found (looked likes been that way for a while).

New top end/bore and still no luck - more than 70 psi though (haven't test but feels alot more)

doesn't run yet for odd reasons. i've got both screws on the carb 2 turns out. With a little burst of arb cleaner it sputters, but thats it.

I've got spark, 32:1 oil mix, compression, choke on, new carb kit.

any ideas why it doesnt run or sputter alone? Plug has gas on it when i remove it.

it will take alot more then 70 psi to get it to run and stay running. did you split the cases to find the missing piston pieces? if that much was gone it would still be in the engine or done alot of damage being ground up. imo should have at least 100 psi to be decent.

i would definatly pull the motor to get the pieces of the skirt. theres no way the piece can make it into the top of the cylinder to get out.
i would likely guess taht the piece has messed with your bearings if its been in there a while causing bad bearings and the seals are probably gone too.

Default Ran once it shall run again.

Havent split the case yet, but when i got it(piston was destroyed before i got it). When i pulled the jug off, me my brother and my friend could not find any pieces of the piston. you can see some where in the case from them.

Now, when I first got it running(drove at the time) it only had 70psi and it ran for a couple hours. made a nice loud pop and stopped. Thats when i pulled the head off to find a destroyed piston.

currently when i spray some carb cleaner into the carb, it does sputter.

The reeds appear fine.. anyway to easily check the bearings/seals though?

easy way is to grab the flywheel and wiggle it up/down and side to side. if there is any movement then the bearings are bad. the seals are a little harder. yuo have to do a leak down test to find a air leak.

Well i think 1 of the seals are bad.

I found the reeds not sealing right so i fixed them, smoke came out near the clutch... clutch is all screwd up - need a new 1:\

any ideas where i can get cheap seals/bearings?

A little more info would help.. Has it been sitting up? Have you checked compression? Have you cleaned the carb, air filter ok,etc?
