well its not that hard. its not like rebuilding an engine. i fixed mine when i was 21 with no manuel to fix it and i figured it out. i thought about bringing it in to a repair shop. but i thought i could do it. and i did it. like i said easy fix. now if it was like a tranny issue or something like that then id probley bring it in. at $50 an hr at a local repair shop i can do it my self and save the labor. last time i brought my 00 in to fix the cv boots it costed me $60 some for the part and about $200 for labor. then i started to do things on my own. and have saved my self alot of money by fixing things on my own. i only bring it in if i know i cant do it like valve ajustments, engine repair (havent had to do it). i evon fix my own truck, and car. iv done body work with no exsperiance and saved over a $1000. you couldnt evon tell i fixed it. iv done tv repair and head gasket repair on my truck. if you have tools and time to learn you can do it. iv always been a tight wad and i like to do things on my own. iv evon built my own snow plow. saved my self about $600 or moe dollars. i can take the money i save for repairs and put it twards a new bigger winch, windshiled, or other things like bills.

Very true Chuck. I do enjoy saving money from labor prices. I said to myself "well this one might be one for the repair shop" Then I pulled the wheel off and the confidence kicked in. So here to hoping its a easy and straight forward job.

I'm still kicking myself for it all though... Could have taken this $180 and added $40 more and got the Mud Lites and prevented this from happening..

UPDATE!

Ok I finally made the funds to order the a-arms upper & lower, I just this evening started the dis-assemble, what a pain in the f***ing a** this is.... The upper shock bolt ( passenger ofcoarse ) wont come out because the mufflers in the way of the bolt, and I cant remove the muffler because the threads of the muffler mount nut are stripped, the lower a-arm part where the bolt broke, just how f***ing long is that thing? the shaft a-arm its called according to this diagram.. part #5133806 ) it broke at the base, and I keep trying to loosen it but all its doing is turning the bolt shaft with it. I'll have to look it up on the diagram. I dont know how the hell i'm gonna get the back side of the upper A-arm off with as tight as spaces are in there and the bolts being like 4"s..

I imagine your talking about the bolt that holds the a-arm onto the quad and u turn it and the shaft turns. I had to hold onto mine with vise grips to get it off
