Default Scrambler - What year do I have????

When I bought this Scrambler, the guy told me it was a 2001....

OK, so i tore it all apart to fix everything, hence all my posts on the recoil, the brakes, the front drive shafts, etc....

So, one of my issues was that I bought all the new stuff for the steering shaft, only to come out, that for 2001, it has the roller bearing and plate at the base of the stem, when in fact the quad had the earlier style, the plastic bushing that rivets into the frame.

This led me to believe that in fact i had a 2000.

Over the weekend, when trouble shoouting some electrical issues, I come to find out that the 2000 model year wiring diagram is the wrong one, so I pull ot the 2001 wiring diagram, and it matches that...

Was there a period where there were half year models?

If you cant find the frame number (on the left side lower frame in front of the tire) Look at the recoil housing sticker that has the motor number. The first two digits are the year model, such as 992001,205001,and such.

Ahhhhh....

It's a 2000.....

The Clymer manula has a different wiring diagram that the supplement from the Polaris website......

The funny thing though, me fan has the brown and red/white wire, and this is what the Clymer manual wiring diagram has.

The Polaris website wiring diangram has brown with orange/green....
