Default 07 Outlaw valve problems

We took our 07 Outlaw in to be serviced at Ramsey Waite Power Sports in Eugene Ore and they did the regular oil change, filter, etc., but they also adjusted the valves-says "always needs valve adjusted". Well, both intake valve spring retainers had broke in half resulting in one bent valve a damaged piston and at least one broken valve guide. Ramsey Waite wants $2000 to repair THEIR screwup!! We took it to 3 other mechanics including to KTM to inspect, they ALL agreed that it was because the valves were to tight. They had never seen problem on these motors before. Ramsey Waite says NOT so, that the manual states to adjust them regularly. The others say don't need it. We now have a bike with motor that needs fixed. Have you ever heard of this problem with Polaris/KTM motors?

seems if it had all that damage done you couldnt even run it. sounds kind of starnge for sure. if you have the reciepts from it being done by them and the company says they screwed up then i would be making them fix it for sure, even w/ a lawyer if need be for that price. imo
