The process they use to apply the Real tree camo on most of the stuff you see like the shot guns is they dip it in a tank that has the thin pattern across the top of the tank. it’s on a spool and when they lay it over the top of the tank a spray goes over the top of the pattern and this somehow dissolves the material that holds the pattern on and only leaves the patterned ink or paint on the surface of the tank. then the dip the part and the pattern transfers on to the part. I saw it don on an episode of American Chopper

I take mine through the bush all the time the only scratch I have on mine is where I rubbed it hard against a post.
