A glass pack is an auto muffler that is nice and loud. If you want a louder quad without long term problems pick up an AAEN exhaust. Had one on my 05 800. It was pretty sweet. You also need to look at the legal aspects of running w/o a muffler too. One of the other posts mentioned starting fires if you don't have a muffler/spark arrestor which will get you in a lot of hot water with conservation officers(not to mention a big fine).
