Default 850 XP vs. King Quads

Memorial weekend was great! 3 days of riding in all types of conditions, from rocks and trees to snow and mud. Even a couple of creek crossings that went over the front rack!
It was me on the XP and 3 three friends on 750 King Quads, lots of fun!

The results of a comparison:
Hands down the XP was faster.
In deep snow the XP really left them behind, I was able to go in high range while they needed low to make it through. Several times we turned around on a trail simply because they kept getting stuck. I passed a King through a snow drift like he was standing still.

However, there was one area where the Kings were a little better:
On trails with deep snow on one side and shallow on the other the XP semed to be sucked into the drift, where the kings (all with Mudlites) were more manuevable. Of course I was breaking trail most of the time. Basically, the XP seems a little light on the front and with enough power and traction on the rear wants to go straight when your on the throttle.

We have an amazing picture of the XP breaking through a drift where a king was stuck, both front tires in the air, snow flying everywhere, it carried the tires for the last 20 feet or so!
Sadly the pic is on a cell phone and I can't figure out how to post it.......

Will take the digi cam next time..

Send the picture via email from your phone to your standard email you access on your home computer. Then you can edit it and post it here. You will likely have to mess around to find out how to email from the phone. Or you could text a message to your email and attach the pic. That would prob. be easier. Send a couple of small texts to your email to practice so you don't waste data time on the phone.

Won't work, I have a web and picture block on my phones. My daughter is on my plan and I have all that blocked to prevent potential "bad things" from happening.

if you have a bluetooth phone and a computer with bluetooth you can exchange files that way. if no bluetooth you can always get a data cable to hook up to the computer

Nope, my phone is very basic. No card, no USB, no nothing. That way when I drop it or smash it I am only out a few dollars.
