Howdie,

I was wondering what everyone wore, and what you suggested for mostly aggressive riding?

Do you feel it is necessary to spend $250 on a pair of boots or will a $100-150 pair be sufficiant?

I'm looking for all the opinions I can get here,

EC

Two places to start looking are Rocky Mountain ATV and www.bobscycle.com. They both have good prices and a good selection of boots.
Gaerne RX's got good reviews in one of the ragazines about 9 months ago. They said that the broke in quickly, were comfortable and less than $200.00.
Also, Alpinestar makes an M4 boot with an "ATV Sole" for less than $ 200.00

Stick with boots with a lug sole, that are made for ATVing. I bought a pair of O neils. They were miserable. Good for riding, but once you stopped for a water/smoke break, you couldn't walk in them. I went out and bought a pair of Gaernes. They give great protection, and are as comfortable as a pair of really good Rockys. Sidi also makes a great boot, it's called the Discovery. They will set you back $250. My Gaernes cost me $189.

FOX Trackers. Should run you about $170-90. Aplinestar has an ATV specific boot, but I think it was pushing $225.

A good pair will last a long time, and may not be as necessary for us guys with floorbaords, but it only takes one spill for them to pay for themselves.

Howdie Quadbuster

A friend of mine bought some of the Rocky Snake boots to ride in very water proof and you can choose from different types of soles.Less than 200. Bass pro has them for the most reasonable price and there are a few near you and i that come close to their price..Btw have you rode over at rockford yet??

thx

Quadbuster,
If your'e still looking. I tried on a pair of the Fox tracker's and they felt really nice to walk around in. The Fox racing site has them for $129, quite a bit cheaper than most retailers.
